In a release on Tuesday, Tony Kalu stated why he is in support of Hon Eric Aso Kalu, insisting that he is the right man to represent.
He also frowned at a recent attack by Hon Mike Ukoha against Eric Kalu.
While stating that he has no doubt Hon. Ukoha is a decent and a good man, he emphasized that he cannot wish him (Ukoha) good luck but wish him well, maintaining that Eric Aso won the election in 2019 and will win it again in 2020.

AUDACIOUS MENDACITY AND CHEAP PROPAGANDA WITH NO MERIT.
To say that Hon Eric Aso Kalu does not possess the capacity and necessary requirements to represent Arochukwu LGA in the State Assembly is like asserting that Hon Ukoha doesn’t possess the right Certificate Of Return which permitted him to occupy the seat in the first place.
Eric Aso is my personal friend, I have attended several political meetings with him and watched him address his audience with such good command of English language, he is a skillful and intelligent communicator, a great orator, humble and attentive when canvassing with his constituents.
There are several red flags in this hatchet job against an Honorable man, a cool calm and intelligent advocate of our people.
(1) The interviewee in this article is identified by a false name.
(2) Reading the article, there’s no doubt the so call interviewee is from Hon Ukoha inner circle, there were exaggerations and such casualness with the truth that it’s so painful to read.
(3) Hon. Ukoha was not the only one involved in NEMA and SEMA response in Isu my community. We have been working on these before Mr. Ukoha’s election.
I can go on and on but if Hon, Ukoha is such a man of integrity like I believe he is, he must directly and unequivocally condemn this very cheap shot against his opponent, at the very least to prove this is not the standard he intend to represent Arochukwu LGA with.
I have no doubt Hon. Ukoha is a decent and a good man but so is Hon. Eric Aso Kalu. I can not wish Ukoha luck but I do wish him well. However, I do believe that Eric Aso won the election in 2019 and will win it again in 2020.
