Other members of the delegate included Mrs Miriam Timiebi, Mrs Ugo Samuel and Mr David Umoru.
The School headed by the Proprietress Mrs Carol Akintunji, the Headmistress Mrs Bola Adeaga, the entire school staff & Management, the chairman of PTA Dr. (Mrs Ighodaro ), Siju’s parents & grandma were full of joy to receive the team describing the visit as the greatest thing that will ever happen to the school.
The Proprietress said the school, established over 30 years ago has been endowed with teachers who pay attention to details especially when it comes to monitoring the activities of the children that attend the school.
She added that the School is privileged to have produced so many talented students in the past in the area of Academics, music, sports, arts etc.
She said the best graduating student of University of Ibadan last year with 4.4 GPA was a student of the school.
She was full of praises for DIGITAL WORLD FORUM as the first organisation to have come to demonstrate support & encourage the Calendar prodigy, Siju Olawepo.
Prior to this time Siju had been presented with a training scholarship by on Machine Language & Coding by Engr. Ajibola Abiola as sponsored by TRACK IT, a Microsoft Authorised Education Partner headed by Mr Albert Agha, a member of DWF.
Other items presented to Siju included a Book on Artificial Intelligence for young ones authored by Dr. Bayo Adekambi of MTN, also a member of DWF.
The package also included DWF branded exercise books, biscuits and chocolates for Siju and his class mates.
Earlier in his speech, the leader of the team, Engr. Ajibola Abiola described Siju as a genius in the class of great scientists like Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Archimedes, Thomas Edison and others whose works have impacted humanity tremendously.
He affirmed the need for Siju to be supported, encouraged and stimulated so that more of the stuff he is made of can be birthed.
You will recall that a few weeks ago, a video clip of an online TV went viral and was also posted on this platform showing Siju being asked various dates of any calendar year up till the 16th century and without blinking his eyes, Siju would tell you accurately the day of the week the date fell on.
