Appoint Igbo Man Your Next COS, It’ll End Secessionist Movement – Ohanaeze Youths Beg Buhari

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council (OYC) Worldwide has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to choose his next Chief of Staff from among the Igbo following the death of Abba Kyari, his former Chief of Staff.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council says this will engender sense of belonging and make up for the supreme sacrifice made by late Chuba Okadigbo in ensuring that Muhammadu Buhari emerges president, which later materialised in the year 2015.

In a release signed by the President-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, OYC insists that there are close allies of the President who have the capacity to occupy the position of Chief of Staff to the president.

The group said the appointment of Igbo Chief of Staff will heal the nation and end secessionist movement in the South East region.

(1) Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide is sympathetic towards the tragic and Unfortunate death of late Mallam Abba kyari, who’s a prominent casualty of the coronavirus Pandemic, and described it as a colossal loss and pray for God to grant Abba kyari’s Soul Mercy and forgiveness on his shortcomings, and give President Muhammadu Buhari and Abba kyari’s family the fortitude to bear the loss.

(2) OYC appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to look inwardly and rethink on the need to make amendments and clear doubts about his stance as the father of Nigeria by appointing a New Chief of Staff from the South, especially from the Igbo speaking areas of Niger Delta or South East, OYC insists that there are capable and trusted allies of President Muhammadu Buhari Since his entrance into politics in 2003 till date from the old Eastern Region, a Chief of Staff from the East will undoubtedly add flavour and rejig the Presidency activities, the Likes of Chief Mike Ahamba SAN and others who stood with President Buhari at perilous times should make him to Consider Igbos as worthy replacement of Late Abba Kyari, the Supreme Price paid by Late Chuba Okadigbo for him to succeed in his quest to become President which materialised in 2015 should make Presidential Muhammadu Buhari to give an Igbo the position of chief of staff and win future elections for APC in the South.

(3) OYC recalled that it was an Igbo from the South-South, that led the Successful campaign that brought in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in 2015, an Igbo Chief of Staff will Unite the Country and end Secessionist Movement in the South, it will bring in transparency in Governance and strategic stability to the Economy, this is the most patriotic but rare opportunity for President Muhammadu Buhari to heal Nigeria from disintegration and collapse, in retrospect, it was an Igbo Minister ( A Former National Chairman of Defunct ANPP) Who masterminded the amalgamation of defunct political parties to merge into APC, President Muhammadu Buhari can rewrite History by being contradictory to predictions, prove his legitimate political sagacity through appointing an Igbo from anywhere as the new Chief of Staff, even from the opposition party.
