Hon. Chukwu Celebrates Sen. Kalu At 60, Describes Him As Detribalised

The member representing Bende North constituency Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu has congratulated Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, the senator representing Abia North on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Hon. Chukwu who is the deputy minority leader in a birthday message to Kalu described him as a proud Igbo son and a rare breed of leader who has committed his entire lifetime in the service of humanity.

While calling on those he said are rejoicing over the travails of the former Abia governor and current Senate Chief Whip to commit their energy to the development of the South East region like Kalu, he said a greater joy waits ahead.

Sen. Kalu is cosmopolitan, well-traveled and detribalised. He has devoted his entire life in serving the welfare of his society right from his days as a student leader to date.

“He is a man with a big heart, fearless and resolute. He goes for what he strongly believes in irrespective of intimidation. The solidarity he has received since the beginning of his politically motivated persecution is an eloquent testimony that he is a leader in touch with his people. I’m convinced the current challenges will be a thing of the past. Greater joy awaits ahead” his message partly read.

While wishing Sen. Kalu a fulfilling birthday, he prayed God to grant him abundant life on earth and the enablement to weather the storms of life and triumph over life challenges.
