Board member, National Films and Video Censor Board (NFVCB) Princess Ikodiya Uche has congratulated the Senate Chief Whip and the senator representing Abia North, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a message to identify with Kalu on his special day on Tuesday, Princess Ikodiya said Kalu’s popularity has for decades waxed stronger across the country on the account of his selfless services to the people irrespective of religious and tribal affiliations.
According to Ikodiya, Kalu has remained relevant in the political scene in the country even after over a decade he left office as Abia governor as a result of his acceptability among the masses whose lives he has touched, as against some of his colleagues.
She expressed dissatisfaction that the Senate Chief Whip has come under what she called politically motivated persecution, saying it is a stepping stone for greater national service.
She extolled Kalu’s people-oriented philosophy in life while praying God to give him more fulfillment in life and many more years in service to humanity.
