A chieftain of APC in Abia State, Chief Ndukwe Iko has expressed satisfaction with the Federal High Court Abuja ruling on Tuesday which ordered the release of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, the senator representing Abia North.
The EFCC had sought an interpretation of the Supreme Court ruling which upturned the conviction of Kalu, a former governor of Abia state.
Speaking with ABN TV on the development, Ndukwe Iko while stating that Sen. Kalu’s release was expected also added that it is a victory for the people of Abia North, the entire state and Igbo race generally.

Iko said Sen. Kalu’s presence in the Senate in a plus to Igbo people.
Describing Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate as a man of destiny and purpose, Iko said any attempt to terminate his stay at the Senate will be resisted.
He said a reception party will be organised in honour of the Senator when the restriction imposed on mass gathering to curb the spread of coronavirus is lifted.
