Abia APC Congratulates Adighije On Appointment As FULOKOJA Pro-Chancellor

The Abia state chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated a chieftain of the party in the state, Chris Adighije on his appointment as the Pro-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja.

ABN TV reports that The party in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Publicity Secretary/Coordinator APC Publicity Secretaries Forum of Niger Delta States, Comrade Benedict Godson also expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for the recognition of one of them.

The party while describing Adighije as an academic colossus and one of Africa’s finest Geologist with a rich academic history said his new position is one that has gone further to prove the sound judgement of the President Buhari led APC government when it comes to appointing the right people in the right positions.

“It is known to all that Senator Adighije was an impactful lecturer in his active teaching days. He is an academic colossus and one of Africa’s finest Geologist with rich academic history.

“A gentleman and one of our finest political juggernauts known for his uprightness and truthfulness right from his days as the National Treasurer of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC).

“Senator Adighije was a vocal voice in his day at the National Assembly when he represented the good people of Abia Central Senatorial Zone in the Upper Chamber. He was never found wanting in his duties.

“He was also the former Abia representative at the Federal Revenue, Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) where he served Abia and Nigeria diligently.

“He’s a father, a leader and a man whose words of wisdom and natural cool-headedness has helped in pushing APC to where we are today in Abia,” the party said.
