FULOKOJA: Sen. Adighije’s Appointment Reward For Dedication, Loyalty — COSEYL

Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, has congratulated Sen. Chris Adighije, former Abia Central senator on his appointment as Pro-Chancellor of Federal University of Lokoja, FULOKOJA, Kogi state.

The Coalition which is the umbrella body of all the youth organisations in the South-East zone, further described Sen. Adighije’s appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as a befitting development rooted in dedication, loyalty, and history, adding that the former lawmaker is the right man for the job.

In a statement issued on Friday by the President General and Secretary-General, Hon. Goodluck Egwu Ibem and Comrade Kanice Igwe respectively, COSEYL expressed confidence that Sen. Adighije’s long years of experience in public service with helping him in the discharge of his functions.

“The choice of Adighije as the pro-chancellor of FULOKOJA is commendable. Adighije is not just academia or a technocrat, he’s a fine gentleman, a decent Nigerian who epitomizes the Nigerian dream. He is a man of many parts.

“The several years of experience garnered by Senator Adighije in various fields of academics research and management would help in the onerous tasks of administering the great institution. We have no doubt that Senator Adighije is a major win for the Federal government and FULOKOJA.

“The appointment of Senator Adighije is a clear fit for purpose and is deserving for our own whose antecedents and record of service as an academia and elder statesman is unblemished. We hope that our distinguished Senator will deploy his varied skills in service to the nation” the statement read.

The Coalition while praying for divine guidance in carrying out the duties of his new office also expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for finding Sen. Adighije fit for this job.

“On behalf of the entire youths in the South-East geo-political zone, we congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment.

“We pray God to guide and protect you and give you the divine wisdom on this delicate national assignment. We thank Mr. President for finding your fit for this exalted position.
