Tory Lanez Arrested After Shooting Meghan Thee Stallion During House Party

Tory Lanez, a Canadian rapper, has been accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot following a dispute inside his SUV vehicle.

According to Page Six, Tory, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, shot Megan after the two were involved in an argument in the vehicle they travelled in after leaving a house party in Hollywood Hills.

“Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” a source told the news outlet on Thursday. “There is a video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”

Additionally, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) was quoted to have said that any videos submitted to it would “not be released until the case goes to court in order to protect the integrity of the case.”

“The detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I’m not privileged to what the detectives have right now,” the spokesperson added.

Tory Lanez was arrested on Sunday for having a concealed weapon in his vehicle.

Reports had earlier swirled that Megan injured her foot on a glass after attending a pool party with the rapper and Kylie Jenner that same day.

But on Wednesday, Megan, while dispelling those rumours, admitted that she was shot and had undergone surgery to have bullets removed.
