A clergy, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, has decried the depletion of Nigerian economy, saying an Igbo presidency can bring about a total turn around.
Ohanaemere popularly known as Odumeje ‘The Lion’, founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, therefore, solicited for support of other regions for the actualization of a President of Igbo extraction.
He made the declaration on Saturday in Abia when he paid a visit to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia State, at his Camp Neya residence in Igbere, Bende local government area of the state.
“It’s our time and we are competent. Where we are now… is competency. We are qualified to take over the position (presidency). We are the ones that can rescue the economy of Nigeria. We are the ones that can handle it. We are the ones that will make the economy of Nigeria to be good and enjoyable. Igbo people are competent to take over the country and this is our time” he declared.
The Onitsha-based clergy who came in the company of his church members arrived at Kalu’s home at exactly 2pm.
ABN TV gathered that, upon sighting Kalu, Odumeje entertained him with his dramatic body gesture and slangs.
He also expressed happiness for gaining access to Kalu after several attempts.
His visit came days after Kalu made first entrance into the Southeast following his release from Kuje custodial centre.
The clergy’s visit also coincided with a period when groups and individuals are calling on Sen. Kalu to vie for office of the president in the 2023 general election.
Prophet Odumeje also declared the Senate Chief Whip qualified to take over the number one job in the country.
He further stated that the Igbo presidency in 2023 was a divine mandate and a moving train, adding, “and nothing can stop it.”
