BREAKING!! Abia PDP Congress: Ohuabunwa, Others Lose In Court

Former Abia North senatorial district Senator, Mao Ohuabunwa, former Chairman of PDP in Arochukwu, Anthony Nwankwo, and others have lost their petition at the state high Court.

The former lawmaker and others had alleged the doctoring of the list of successful candidates who emerged at the party’s LGA congress held earlier in the year.

This had generated ill feelings among the party faithful.

Ohuabunwa and others had alleged the dubious adoption of some party officials who were not products of party congress portend grave danger for the party, saying some persons can institute legal action against the outcome of any activity conducted by such illegal officials.

In his ruling on Monday however, the presiding judge, Justice CCT Adiele threw out the case for lacking merit.

The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Uko Ndukwe Nkole had applauded the ruling of the court, describing it as unbiased.

He said this will serve as a warning to people he called moles in the PDP seeking to destroy the party.
