Despite Spending 12 Years In NASS, Ohuabunwa Begs Sen. Kalu To Fix Aro Road

Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa, former senator Representing Abia North on Friday appealed to the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to fix Arochukwu road.

This is despite spending 8 years as a member of House of Representatives and later 4 years as senator for Abia North.

The request came as a surprise in Arochukwu during the funeral ceremony of Late Jumbo Nkemka Offor, the former Southeast and business community representative in the Police Service Commission (PSC).

The former National Assembly member was invited to make his tribute to the late Offor.

The current Senator and former Abia governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, however, did not give a response to the request.

At various fora, he has advocated for peace and politics devoid of rancour.

Kalu was in 2019 elected to represent Abia North under the platform of APC after defeating his closest PDP’s rival Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa.
