A youth leader, Bernard Ogbe has advised Sen. Godswill Akpabio to leave Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu out of his NDDC saga.

Sen. Akpabio, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs had in a list sent to the National Assembly mentioned Sen. Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip as one of the beneficiaries of NDDC contracts.

Reacting to the development, Mr. Ogbe wondered why Akpabio a former Akwa Ibom State Governor would drag Kalu into his challenges.

According to Mr. Ogbe, Sen. Kalu has attracted numerous projects in his constituency through the NDDC which are yet to be paid for, wondering how Kalu could be a beneficiary in a contract he facilitated.

He further added that when the contracts were awarded, Sen. Kalu was not a member of the National Assembly.

He further added that Kalu, a former governor of Abia State has been known as a man of indisputable integrity and honour and therefore couldn’t have had any connections with underhand dealings in NDDC or any other agency of government.

While assuring the Senator of the People’s solidarity, he called on Kalu not to relent in touching the lives of Abians and Nigerians as a whole for good.
