Sen. Kalu To Storm Aba In Honour Of Late Chairman of Tonimas Oil

Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu will on Monday, August 10, 2020, attend a requiem mass in honour of late Chief Anthony Enukeme.

Chief Enukeme, a billionaire oil magnate was until his death the Chairman of Tonimas Oil.

Sen. Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate has according to a source who spoke with ABN TV indicated interest to pay his last respect to the late oil mogul, whom he described as Kalu’s personal friend.

Our correspondent reports that this is the first official visit the Federal lawmaker is making to Aba in the last 7 months.

It will be recalled that Kalu made a triumphant entry to the South East on July 27 following his release from Kuje correctional centre on June 2.

His return set the region agog in jubilation as friends, associates and supporters, including people of all ages trooped in their numbers to give him a rousing welcome as he made his way to his Igbere hometown.
