The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone B, Abia State has appointed a new committee on healthcare and welfare matters.
ABN TV reports that the function of the committee is to devise means of visiting motherless babies homes, hospitals, academic institutions and others within the state to contribute and show them support, a release by Comr. Frank E. Orji, NANS Zonal Rep Abia State and Comr. Modesta N. Ngozi NANS National Rep Abia State says.
“In view of our agenda to contribute to the society at large, the following persons have been appointed to act in the capacity of NANS Committee on Health and Welfare Matters.

1. Hon. Comr. Nwosu Michael Chinedu- Chairman
2. Comr. Okorie Rosemary- Secretary
3. Comr. Nnanna Emilia Martins- Member
4. Hon. Emensinwa Emmanuel- Member
5. Comr. Charity Imo- Member
6. Comr. Okehie Adaugo Precious- Member
7. Hon. Anthony Kelechi- Member
“While we congratulate those that was found worthy to serve in such capacity, please kindly note that the major function of the committee is to devise means of how to visit motherless babies homes, hospitals, institutions (both Primary, Secondary and high Institutions, Private and Public) and any other indigent group within the state by showing support by contributing and encouraging them far beyond mere words,” the statement said.
