LG Poll: Abia PDP Sets Up Electoral Appeal Panel

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has inaugurated a 7-man committee to look into petitions likely to arise from the recently concluded Chairmanship and Councillorship screening exercise.

The screening is in preparation for the forthcoming local government election scheduled for December 2020.

Members of the committee are as follows:
1. Barr. Chijioke Nkaru ​​– Chairman
2. Chief Chinyere Onuoha ​– Secretary
3. Elder Amah Abraham​​– Member
4. Chukwudi Ezebuiro ​​– Member
5. David Monday Chigbu ​​– Member
6. Lolo Christy Emenike ​​– Member
7. Chief Gabriel Okereke Elendu – Member

A release signed by the State Publicity Secretary, PDP, Hon. (Chief) Fabian Nwankwo urged those with genuine complain to forward same to the committee.

“Note that any person(s) with genuine complain(s) relating to the screening of the Chairmanship and Councillorship exercise should forward such complain(s) to the panel for consideration and necessary action.

“The Appeal Panel shall seat on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at Conference Hall of the State PDP Secretariat, Umuahia. Time: 10 am.”
